Lei Tsu was born as a twisting mill for thin yarns and therefore has always been known as a historical partner of the major producers of transparent curtains in Europe.
Since the early 2000s, mainly thanks to the collaboration with Trevira GmbH, Lei Tsu has also started supplying decorative fabric manufacturers, creating innovative articles for them and focusing particularly on jaquard weaving.
Over the past 10 years, Lei Tsu has started and progressively increased the production of air textured artciles, mainly destined for the upholstery fabrics’ market, both residential and contract.
Today, therefore, Lei Tsu is able to cover the needs of the entire world of furniture, from producers of light fabrics for curtains to those of heavy fabrics that cover sofas and chairs all over the world.
Fashion and accessories
Lei Tsu is an historical supplier of lightweight yarns for clothing weaving.
Specialized in polyester and thanks to the decades old collaboration with the main Como weavers, Lei Tsu now offers a vast range of polyester yarns aimed especially at the world of underwear and women’s fashion.
The crepe FT yarns, of which Lei Tsu is the largest producer in Europe, are particularly appreciated by producers of silk imitation fabrics.
Countless types of processing on continuous yarns make Lei Tsu a fast, safe and innovative partner for each new season.
The lining market is followed with particular attention to the Cupro fiber, of which Lei Tsu is a long-time collaborator of Asahi Kasei and Itochu Corporation.
The possibility of air texturing colored and even thin yarns has allowed Lei Tsu to become a reliable supplier also for accessory fabric producers (bags and shoes in particular), who require specific technical characteristics of the yarns to produce their fabrics.
Finally, the recent partnership with Ilcat SpA has led Lei Tsu to transform a wide range of artificial yarns also suitable for the circular knitwear market.
